“I joined East Coast Podiatry Centre in August 2016 after working in Private Practice in Glasgow, UK after graduating from Glasgow Caledonian University in 2015. I have always wanted to work abroad and have been fortunate enough to have travelled to South East Asia numerous times. Moving to Singapore to pursue my career as a Podiatrist seemed quite daunting initially, but it has been one of the best choices I have made so far in my life. Many new graduates put obstacles in the way before pursuing their dream job due to commitments, finances or other reasons but I would encourage any fresh graduate or Podiatrist to think about Podiatry in Singapore. Since joining East Coast Podiatry, I have learnt so much and have been advanced within various specialisms including Orthotic therapy, Paediatrics, Biomechanics and Shockwave therapy. I feel I have grown as a clinician both intellectually and personally. I¹m very lucky to be surrounded in a team of colleagues that have a culture of support and unity. I really do love my job, helping patients get back on their feet and am fascinated by podiatric medicine. Just because I have graduated and been practicing a few years, I still love learning every day and expanding my scope. Every day is different, has new challenges but I enjoy to expect the unexpected, it keeps me on my toes!“
